Aside fromChibi-Robo!, every game in theNew Play Control!line of GameCube-to-Wii remakes has been brought over to North America… with the exception ofPikmin 2. For some reason, every other major region was blessed with the sequel to Miyamoto’s interpretation of Sunday gardening, yet we were skipped entirely. Did we fail some kind of test? Did someone forget to pray at the altar of Hiroshi Yamauchi?
Whatever the reason, Nintendo has finally decided to release the game here. According to Nintendo Power,New Play Control! Pikmin 2should arrive just in time to prepare us for the upcoming Wii U sequel. It only took three years, but hey, it’s not like Americans were starving for Wii software, right? RIGHT!?
