While there have been several different eras ofBig Brotherthat I’ve enjoyed over the years, I’ve always been the type of viewer looking to recapturethe magic of old schoolBig Brother. Something about the earlier seasons, when houseguests were always testing the boundaries of the game, feels richer than its current iteration.I’m hopefulBB27 will bring back old school trends.

As an avid fan, I’m always excited to see theBig Brotherhouse designs drop prior to the season’s start. This season,I was floored to see that the house has been partially redesigned from an architectural standpoint, and the interior has been turned into a lush, lavish mysterious hotel that’s sure to bring a ton of secrets to the surface.
Throughout theBig Brother27 house, there are several rooms that incorporate gorgeous jewel tones and evoke an air of luxury into the typically less-than-luxurious game. With nooks to have private chats, a new space for the show’s gym, and bunk beds incorporated into the design for the first time sinceBig Brother’sdebut season,the design is a gorgeous fusion of styles.

It Has Secret Nooks & Crannies
Big Brother’shouse design feels reminiscentof old schoolBig Brotherto me in a few ways. First and foremost,the insanely detailed design elements took me back to seasons likeBig Brother8, which featured an Alice In Wonderland theme, where the interior of the house played as much of a role as the houseguests. The details are rich and telling.
Along with the design feeling like older seasons in its depth, the fact that there are secrets interwoven throughout the house - likea secret door behind a bookcase that leads to the diary room- leads me to believe there will be more to uncover. In old seasons, likeBig Brother6, the houseguests have been tasked with finding rooms, luxury items, and other secrets.
I’m Hopeful This Season Will Continue The BB Renaissance
The Last Stretch Of Seasons Has Continuously Improved
Asthe last seasons ofBig Brotherhave been risen in quality,I’m hopeful that the redesign of the house helps usher in another season of theBBRenaissance. While seasons in the 2010s were hit or miss, the 2020s have been an uphill battle for the long-running competition show.Big Brotherwill, hopefully, continue to twist itself into a compelling competition.
