Ahsokaseason 2 will seemingly give allStar Wars Rebelsfans the reunion they’ve wanted for the last seven years.Star WarsCelebration 2025has given fans all they need to get excited aboutAhsokaseason 2, andScreenRant’s Molly Brizzell and James Hunt have been on the ground in Japan getting sneak peeks at theAhsokaseason 2 teaser. After learning who will be joining the cast, we can’t help but get excited forAhsokaseason 2.
Ahsokaseason 1 followed the titular Ahsoka Tano and her padawan Sabine Wren as they traveled to a different galaxy to find their long-lost friend Ezra Bridger and try to preventGrand Admiral Thrawnfrom returning to the mainStar Warsgalaxy. While Sabine and Ahsoka were able to get Ezra home, they failed to stop Thrawn and ended up trapped on Peridea themselves. Despite the title indicating a show all about Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan, ir also served as a quasi-reunion between four of the mainRebelscharacters — Ezra, Sabine, Chopper, and Hera Syndulla.

The Ghost Crew Is Back, & Now In Live-Action
All (Live) Members of the Ghost Are Returning
Ever sinceAhsokaand its cast of characters were announced, it’s been exciting forRebelsfans who yearned to see their favorite characters make the jump to live action. Prior toAhsoka, only twoRebelscharacters had cameoed in live-action — Chopper inRogue Oneand Zeb Orrelios inThe Mandalorianseason 3.However, a teaser forAhsokaseason 2 confirmed that all living members of theGhostwill be appearing, making this the first time audiences get to see all of them together in live-action.
Though theGhostcrew is incomplete without Kanan Jarrus, who sacrificed himself inRebelsseason 4, it’s great that Zeb will be reuniting with his found family. After having Ezra Bridger cross between galaxies to find his way home, it’ll be great to see him interact once again with Hera, Chopper, and Zeb. While on the Celebration Stage, Ahsoka actorRosario Dawson confirmed that Ezra and Hera will be working together to fight off Thrawn, something that will hopefully satisfy those who were underwhelmed by their reunion at the end ofAhsokaseason 1.
Ahsoka Season 1 Stumbled, But Season 2 Can Fly
Dave Filoni is Setting Season 2 Up To Be Great
Many viewers were irritated that Zeb was missing fromAhsokaseason 1, only garnering a mention by Sabine and Ezra after they’d been reunited. Having seenZeb appear in live-action inThe Mandalorianseason 3alongside Carson Teva and then Teva appearing inAhsokafelt like it could’ve fit so easily, but that the ball was dropped.WhileAhsokaoverall was a good show, certain emotional moments just didn’t hit as well as they probably should’ve.
Ahsokaseason 2 has Ezra, Hera, and presumably Zeb all working together, so audiences are hopeful that these emotional mis-managements will be corrected
Ahsokaseason 2 has Ezra, Hera, and presumably Zeb all working together, so audiences are hopeful that these emotional mis-managements will be corrected.
