Borderlands 4pre-orders are open, with the launch date right around the corner. The game will bring four new Vault Hunters to the planet of Kairos, where war and mayhem rule in the aftermath of a massive planetary collision. Players will shoot, ride, and hack their way through this political and planetary chaos, in a vast world that’s bigger and more open than the previous titles.
The fourth numbered mainline game in the series is launching on July 30, 2025, which means it’s time to decide if you’re going to opt in for the pre-order or any of the special editions.Borderlands 4isavailable to pre-purchase as a Standard Edition, complete with a cosmetic pre-order bonus, as well as a Deluxe and Super Deluxe edition. Each offers a different collection of goodies for dedicated fans at differing price points.

Aftersome concerns about the priceofBorderlands 4,it was revealed that theStandard Edition will cost $69.99.The Standard Edition will include only the game, in either digital or physical form (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Only).
Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will alsogrant fans thepre-order bonus ofthe Gilded Glory Pack. This cosmetic pack will include one Vault Hunter skin, one weapon skin, and a skin for the ECHO-4 Drone, the Vault Hunters' new robotic companion.

If you miss out on the Gilded Glory as a pre-order bonus, the cosmetic pack will be available for purchase post-launch.
These items areentirely cosmetic and will not affect players' stats or gameplay,but they will look cool. We only get a preview of the skin on Vex,the game’s newest playable Siren, but it seems to be mostly white with gold and denim blue accents. The Gilded Glory pack is included in every edition of the game, as long as you buy it ahead of the title’s release.

Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition Bonuses
The Borderlands 4 Standard Edition Costs $99.99
Borderlands 4has two additional purchase tiers above the Standard Edition: the Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions. The Deluxe Editioncosts $99.99 and includes the base game and Gilded Glory Pack (if pre-ordered),as well as the Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin—a fiery, flaming skin with a name and design that serve asa nod to Lilith the Siren.
In addition to cosmetic rewards, theDeluxe Edition also includes the Bounty Pack Bundle,which unlocks post-game content once it becomes available. This includes four new areas with new missions and bosses, four new vehicles and cosmetics, new gear and weapons, new Vault Hunter cosmetics, and four Vault Cards.

Vault Cards will work the same way as inBorderlands 3,allowing players to earn unique rewards by completing special challenges. The Bounty Packs will be compact add-ons that aren’t as big as story DLCs but will still feature anew area, boss, and vehicle in each pack.More details will be revealed about both the Bounty Packs and the Vault Cards at a later date.
Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition Bonuses

The most expensive and expansive tier forBorderlandsis theSuper Deluxe Edition, priced at $129.99. This pack will include all the content from the previous tiers— several cosmetic skins, and the Bounty Pack Bundle, and, of course, the full base game.
The Super Deluxe edition will alsoinclude the Ornate Order pack. This includes four Vault Hunger skins, heads, and bodies, allowing fans to change the look of their characters more drastically than just a skin. Finally, the Super Deluxe Edition will alsofeature the Vault Hunter Packfor fans who want to get all thepost-launch content that Gearbox plans to releaseover time once the game is out.

TheVault Hunter Pack comes with two story DLCs, which will include new regions, stories, and side-missions, as well as two new Vault Hunters not available in the base game. The DLCs will also include new gear and weapons, new Vault Hunter skins and other cosmetics, and new ECHO-4 cosmetics.
The Super Deluxe option is for fans who want to have everythingBorderlands 4has to offer at launch and beyond. Fans can choose from the Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe editions, depending on how much additional content they want. The game is now available for pre-order and will be launching on September 12 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic.
