If you’ve been playing a while, you know how annoyingly slow movement is, but not to worry, with these boots, we’ll finally be able to run like a real… uhhh… fisherman (?). Dr. Crookspine Invention Quest in Fisch
When you log into the game,head to Dr. Crookspine’s(not Dr. Glimmerfin’s)Secret lab. It’s locatedbetween Roslit Bay and Sunstone Island. Essentially, if you head from one of these islands to the other, you’ll find it (it looks like an Oil Rig). When you arrive, climb the rope to the top, talk to the concerned workers if you like, andaccept the quest from Dr. Crookspine. He needs the following items to make your speed boots:
Now, you might be thinking that you’ll need to do a series of tasks to get each of these, but in reality, these are just Secret Fish. So, you’ll need a good rod, good bait, and as much luck as you can possibly get. You can also get Server Luck to make this even easier, but it’s entirely possible without it, it just takes longer.
How to Get Boots in Fisch
Boots are considered aSecret fishin the Ocean Bestiary. However, instead of grabbing therod with the highest Luck boostyou should Equip theTraining Rod with Weird Algae. Yes, we know it sounds silly, but trust us, that’s the best way to get these elusive boots.
Essentially, the drop rate on the Boots is so rare that you actually need arod with the worst luckto catch them. Additionally, the weight limit of the Training Rod will also prevent you from catching heavier fish, which in turn increases the chance of catching the Boots. Seriously, don’t think too much about it, and just equip the Training Rod and have patience because this might take a while.
The Boots aren’t difficult to reel in, strangely enough, but you’ll still get a notification like you would when you catch a Secret fish.
How to Get Rocket Fuel in Fisch
Rocket Fuel is also considered a Secret fish. Go toMushgrove, use the same rod + bait + luck buff setup like you did to get the boots, and hope for the best. Again, just like with the Boots, it’s really easy to reel in, so don’t worry about having high Resiliance or anything. Just focus on getting that Rocket Fuel to… uhhh… bite.
How to Get Speed Core in Fisch
The Speed Core is located at Sunstone Island. This is very convenient because you canvisit Merlin whenever your Luck boost runs outand just pop it again. As you can probably guess by now, the only tricky part is getting it to “bite”, while reeling it in is super simple. Use the same rod, bait, and boost setup just like you did for the last few items.
