Among Us, the popular online multiplayer game, has announced its latest update, which has now gone live on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. The update includes a host of new features and improvements, including a new Horse Mode in celebration of April Fools' Day, new cosmetics, and bug fixes.
Among Usis an online multiplayer social deduction game that was developed and published in 2018 by the American game studio Innersloth. The game is set in space-themed surroundings, where players control colorful, armless cartoon astronauts. Players are divided into two roles, with most being Crewmates and a small number playing Impostors. Crewmates work together to complete assigned tasks, while also using social deduction to identify and vote out suspected Impostors, who appear identical to Crewmates. Impostors, on the other hand, try to secretly kill the Crewmates.

In an update on the Innersloth official website, thegame’s developers ofAmong Usannouncedthat, in honor of April Fool’s Day, they are bringing back the popular Horse Mode between March 31 and April 2. In this mode, all Crewmates are transformed into horse-shaped characters appropriately referred to as “Horsemates." The developers have also added a new Horse Wrangling mode to the game, which is essentially a Hide n' Seek mode with a horse-y surprise. Players are encouraged to check back around April Fools to see what other surprises the developers have in store.
TheAmong Usupdatealso introduces new cosmetics to the game, including hats, nameplates, and visors. Players can purchase these new items from the in-game store using beans, and some of the nameplate prices have been sabotaged by an Impostor, making them cheaper than they should be. The developers have promised to fix this pricing error in the next update, but in the meantime, players can enjoy the discounted prices.
In addition to these new features, the update includes several bug fixes and improvements. For example, players in theHide n' Seek modewill no longer get stuck on a black screen if the Seeker leaves during the reveal screen. Task arrows will no longer get stuck on the screen after a comms sabotage, and players will no longer see lobbies mixed with assets from the Skeld. TheAmong Usupdate also fixes issues with the Shapeshifter pet and blocked players in the Friends List, as well as correcting the Right Hand Man kill animations. Winning or losing a game in Practice will now reset the practice game.
