This time,the fishing line goes into the river one level below the cliffthat the player is standing on.
This feature has been in the games since the beginning, with the GameCube games also allowing fishing of a lower level, but it’s never explained in-game, allowing for spontaneous discoveries like this one, years later.
Like many discoveries, this one was made by accident.
