Apex Legendshad a rough day yesterday.Apex Legendsaccounts were reset to level 1, and the game’s servers were taken down so Respawn could fix the issue. However, it seems as though the temporary account reset may have been intentional, and it was possibly done to address a leak for an upcoming weapon.

The L-STAR fromTitanfall 2is apparently making its way toApex Legendsat some point in the future. Before the account reset and server downtime yesterday, someApex Legendsplayers unlocked skins for the L-STAR, despite it not being in the game yet and not officially announced by Respawn. After the downtime, it appears as though the L-STAR skins have been removed, but not before some screenshots were taken to prove their existence.

Overall, it’s no surprise that Respawn appears to be adding more weapons from theTitanfallseries toApex Legends. After all,Apex Legendsis set in theTitanfalluniverse, and the more connections between the two, the betterApex Legends' incredible popularity can boost theTitanfallbrand in general.

While new weapons will no doubt be appreciated by the community, there are some features thatApex Legendsfans may rather see added to the game first. A common request is forRespawn to add solos and duos toApex Legendsso that players can play by themselves or with just one friend if they so desire. Others would like to seeApex Legendsadd a fourth person per team, which would put it in line with what other battle royale games on the market have to offer.

Other players still may be most interested in new playable Legends that could be coming toApex Legends. The season 1 launch saw thenew character Octaneadded to the mix, but we know at least two more characters are set to be added to the game by the time season 1 comes to a close. There have been leaks for a bunch of potentialApex Legendscharacters, and it will be interesting to see which leaked character is next in line.

However,Apex Legendsfans should expect to see the L-STAR before any more new characters are added to the mix.

ApexLegendsis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
