Artist Saya Tsuruta Hides Poké Balls In TCGP Card Art

Poké Balls Appear In Cards Like Mew, Horsea, And Cloyster

Tsurata is a longtimePokémon TCGartist, with 130 different Pokémon cards credited to her name. While her artwork appears on cards dating back as far as theDiamond & Pearlera of the card game, she’s only been hiding Poké Balls in cards since theSword and Shieldera.Typically, Tsurata hides the Poké Balls in sparkles or bubbles built into the artwork, although she’s also cleverly placed Poké Balls into tables, doorknobs or flowers as well.

WhilePokémon TCG Pocketsetshaven’t featured any new artwork of Tsurata’s, that could change in the not-too-distant future. Given how many cards Tsurata has contributed artwork to,it wouldn’t surprise me if she’s tapped to do an Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare cardsoon.
