While the upcomingCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warpre-load is optimized for console players, PC players will need to refer to the minimum spec requirements sent out by Activision and Treyarch. This is the first time that PC fans have a chance to tryBlack Ops Cold Warprior to its launch in November.
Do keep in mind that the PC version of the new title will be exclusive to Blizzard’s Battle.net launcher, so interested fans should install it if needed. This is thesame place thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfareis hosted, so fans of the previous title are already set for the beta.

The high definition graphics found withinBlack Ops Cold Warrequire some higher-end hardware to render. Consoles come premade with necessary components, and games are usually optimized to their specifications. PC users must go through a different process, as their personal computers need to match the game’s requirements. Meeting minimal standards will allow the game to run, but unless a player runs the recommended specs they have a low chance of coming close to the full graphicalpotential ofBlack Ops Cold War.

Recommended Specifications
These recommended specs should be enough to run the Beta and most likely the full version of the game. They are similar to therequirements forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, but the game’s preload is still substantially smaller than its predecessor.
