Virtual Joey

Dish Network announced today at CES that applications are coming to PS3 and PS4 that will give users control of their Hopper Whole-Whome HD DVR. Set to release this spring, their Virtual Joey will give users the same experience they have on hardware, giving them access to TV and recordings on their PlayStations.

Using home networks, Virtual Joey can connect wirelessly to the Hopper, letting users get around wiring completely. This makes your PS3 or PS4 another ‘box’ in your home. Neat.
