With Activision and Vicarious Visions’Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogynow only a few weeks away from itsrelease date, the companies behind the forthcoming remastered trilogy of the original PS1 games have decided to amp up excitement for the title by putting out its launch trailer. The footage covers the titles to be included in the compendium,Crash Bandicoot,Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex StrikesBack, andCrash Bandicoot: Warped, and shows off some of the newly updated gameplay.

Sane Trilogy"Better with Crashitude" launch trailer, Activision and Vicarious Visions made sure to show how much work and attention to detail had been done to ensure the graphics from the PS1-era titles were brought up to speed for PS4 by displaying the original games' graphics and cutting to the newly polished visuals. Not to mention, the soundtrack seems to have been tweaked a bit as well, as the music sounds crisper and with additional percussive instruments having been added.
The release ofCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’s launch trailer also reiterates the recently divulged news that Crash’s sisterCoco is a playable characterfor all three titles in the upcoming remastered collection. First introduced inCortex Strikes Backas an NPC, Coco but later went on to become a playable character inWarped, and now she can be chosen to play through the entire trilogy.
Taking all of this into consideration, since the initial announcement ofCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, fans have been practically drooling over the chance to now re-experience or play through the first three games in the series for the first time with gorgeous graphics. Should the title be positively received and sell well, Activision and Vicarious Visions have stated thata new game is entirely possiblesometime down the line.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is set to launch on June 21, 2025 for PlayStation 4.
