Production onDaredevil: Born Againseason two has been ongoing since February, and it is expected to wrap in July. Picking up from Netflix’sDaredevil, the series stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Margarita Levieva, Jon Bernthal, and Wilson Bethel. The second season is also slatedto feature Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, who previously originated in the Netflix series of the same name. These new photos are not the first we’ve seen of thisThe Defendersreunion.Previously, Cox and Ritter’s trainer, Naqam Washington,shared a selfie of himself with both stars, quipping that he is “the safest man in NY.” While that image was enough to excite fans, seeing the two back in costume stokes the flames of both speculation and anticipation.
Little is known about how Jessica will factor into season two ofDaredevil: Born Again; however, her job as a private investigator creates a natural entry point story-wise. Alternatively, her lack of a secret identity may make her a target of Mayor Wilson Fisk’s anti-vigilante crackdown. Since Cox is in his Daredevil suit in the image, the latter could be more likely.

Ever since Jessica was announced to be inDaredevil: Born Again, the big question among audiences has been whether the other Defenders, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, would also appear.not only show that they are in New York, where the series is filming, but they’ve also interacted in the comments, further fueling speculation.Since season two’s storyline will follow Fisk’s anti-superhero agenda, Danny and Luke reuniting with their old superhero teammates could be a natural development.
Regardless, Jessica’s return to Marvel holds a lot of promise.
