Subsequently,Dark and Darkerfaced further hurdles, leading to its removal from Steam due to ongoing legal complications. Despite this setback, Ironmace remained undeterred and proceeded to release the game in early access, determined to advance toward its full launch. In a recent development, Ironmace unveiled a second update that brings noteworthy improvements to the gameplay experience. The focus of this update includes a reinforced anti-hack system, aiming to ensure a fair and pristine gaming environment. Players can also anticipate a more balanced loot distribution, with increased drop rates for Uncommon items from all chests, and even a chance for Epic-grade items to emerge from chests.
Notably, the update enhances the rewards from specific chests, such as Ornate, Lions Head, and Golden Chests, providing a greater incentive for exploration. The Goblin Merchant now offers an expanded array of items for players to acquire. ThisDark and Darkerupdate also addresses gameplay intricacies, blocking certain strategies related to the Cave Troll encounter, fixing bugs tied to the Cave Troll’s behavior, and refining map-related issues.
The latest update highlights Ironmace’s resolute commitment to enhancing the gaming experience for players, showcasing their steadfast dedication. Although the game is not currently accessible on Steam, players should hold onto their optimism, as thedeveloper ofDark and Darkeris actively striving for its eventual comebackon the platform. Ironmace’s legal team approached Valve in April to reinstate the game, underscoring the significance of the world’s largest PC storefront.
