After ten years since its release,Dark Soulsremains one of the undisputed greats in FromSoftware’s library. Renowned as one of the best games of the past decade,Dark Soulscontinues to inspire fans and artists with its gloomy locations and unique characters. In a recent YouTube video, sculptor BerserkRevanant created an impressive clay model of the imposing Knight Artorias, and fans can see the journey from start to finish.

Artorias’ lore inDark Soulsis often cited as one of the most heartbreaking in the series and is a fan-favorite storyline. While Artorias is already dead for thousands of years throughout theevents ofDark Souls, the Chosen Undead receives the opportunity to travel back in time in theArtorias of the AbyssDLC, where eventually the player encounters the imposing former Knight of Lord Gwyn. Artorias' striking character model notably has a crippled shield arm, which he lost while protecting his loyal companion, Great Grey Wolf Sif, from the Abyss’s corruption before being taken by it himself. Now, without a master, Sif protects Artorias’ grave in Darkroot Garden as an eternal loyal guardian before also being cut down by the Chosen Undead.
