As mentioned, the Crusher isone of the few Apex zombiesthat can be a handful to handle inDead Island 2. While theirincreased health and sturdiness are already troublesome, they also possess some other attacks that can catch those unprepared out. Combined with other zombies in the area, and it could make for a tough fight even with the best weapons.

The shockwave from its Overhead Smash will also affect other zombies in the area, so always be on the move to avoid getting swarmed. Make full use of Curveballs to even the odds further. Deeper into the game, more variants will appear like the Inferno Crusher, so bring the right weapon to the fight to stand a better chance of success.
