Destiny 2 players are just now diving into the new Forsaken expansion and with any onslaught of content comes a lot of questions. One that has been making the rounds lately regards how to redeem theCayde’s Exotic Stashpre-order reward.

For those that might not have followedDestiny 2news lately, the Cayde’s Exotic Stash pre-order bonus includes an ornament for theAce of Spades exotic hand cannon, an exotic ship called Queen of Hearts, the Standoff emote, and a handful of Shades of Cayde-6 shaders.

Since all of these items are cosmetic in nature it’s understandable that players would want to show them off as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is a bit of waiting required. to unlock the Cayde’s Exotic Stash, players must first complete the Forsaken story campaign.

Once the campaign is complete, players can head to Amanda Holliday in The Tower to claim their items. Bungie also points out that the shaders are mistakenly labeled as “Cayde’s Duds,” but this is only a naming bug. The shader is the same color scheme as Shades of Cayde-6.

It’s a fairly obvious answer but many players were understandably concerned when their pre-order rewards did not unlock upon startingDestiny 2: ForsakenTuesday morning. Some were wondering if their pre-order didn’t count or if the items were lost in their postmaster but luckily that is not the case. All they need to do is play the new content and the new items will appear.

This week is a big one forDestiny 2players with the launch of Forsaken. Not only does the expansion feature new story content, new destinations, and new gear, but it also introduces anew mode called Gambitthat mixes PvE and some light PvP. All told there are a lot of opportunities to show off those new pre-order bonuses.

Destiny 2: Forsakenis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
