Diablo 3has beenrumored for the Nintendo Switch for months, and while we’re still waiting for an official announcement, the game’s existence has been leaked, along with some other details.
Earlier today,Forbespublished (and then quickly deleted) an article about the Nintendo Switch version ofDiablo 3, which will be calledDiablo 3: Eternal Collection. It will come with the base game, as well as theReaper of SoulsandRise of the Necromancerexpansions in addition to all other post-launch content that has been released forDiablo 3.

Diablo 3: Eternal Collectionwill retail for $59.99, which may seem kind of steep for a game that is over six years old at this point, but theEternal Collectionwill also have some exclusive content for players to sink their teeth into. As it turns out, the Nintendo Switch version ofDiablo 3will apparently come with some exclusive items themed afterThe Legend of Zelda, including a Ganondorf armor set, a Tri-Force portrait frame, a cucco pet, and more.
Overall,Diablo 3coming to the Switch isn’t that big of a surprise. As previously stated, rumors have been circulating for months that a Switch version has been in the works, and Blizzard itself has teased that it hasmultipleDiabloprojects in development. Presumably one of those projects isDiablo 4, and the rest are ports and remakes of older games in the series, or maybe even original spinoff games.
And whileDiablo 3: Eternal Collectionseems like a sure-thing after this leak, it’s still best to take this information with a grain of salt until Blizzard or Nintendo make an official announcement.
Diablo 3: Eternal Collectionis rumored to be releasing later this year for the Nintendo Switch.
