With the coronavirus pandemic resulting instay at home orders around the world, video game companies have been doing their best to keep people entertained. The result of this has been a slew of free games available for download at any given time. The latest to join this extensive list isArx FatalisfromDishonoreddevelopers, Arkane Studios.

Arkane Studios is known for theDishonoredseries, but also other great games such asPrey. Now, in celebration of its 2o year anniversary, the studio is offering playersArx Fatalis, its first-ever game, for free. This game has consistently good reviews despite being 18 years old.

Arx Fatalisis a first-person fantasy RPG game, in thesame vein as theElder Scrollsseriesbut notably different for a few reasons. As previously mentioned, the reception of the game was incredibly positive, with reviewers and fans alike often rating the game at 9/10 or higher.

In addition to this, Arkane Studios is offering a ton of other digital goodies as well as part of its Arkane 20 celebration. There are several free wallpapers available for download from the website as well, and the aforementioned art book can be obtained alongside the game. Those unfamiliar withArx Fatalisshould definitely check it out, and the veterans and returning players will find it as a nice treat. The free game must be run on PC through theBethesda launcher, however, so players will need to download and install that first if they haven’t yet.

Fans of Arkane Studios would be wise to keep an eye on its website as there’s no telling what other celebratory measures it will take in the near future.
