Gameloft has dropped some hints for the nextDisney Dreamlight ValleyStar Path, and they appear to be themed around the upcomingPeter Panupdate. Star Paths are limited-time events in the cozy Disney game that challenge players to complete various quests in exchange for exclusive rewards.
A new Star Path is announced every few months, and with thecurrentGarden of WhimsyPathpreparing to end on June 11, the game’s developer is dropping hints about the next set of challenges. TheDisney Dreamlight ValleyX account hasshared a set of emojis as a teaserfor the next Star Path, and it looks to be pirate and mermaid-themed.

The Star Path hints this time seem to indicate that therewards for the coming Star Pathwill revolve aroundpirates, mermaids, and other underwater elements.The X account has shared three pairs of emojis, each hinting at the types of rewards that will be unveiled when the next event starts. The emoji pairs are:
It’s a fair guess to assume that the first pair islikely referring to a pirate monkey companion, since Star Paths usually include some kind of companion (a critter who follows you around as you go about your tasks in the Valley). While the mermaid and seashell might be generic underwater elements to tie in to the upcoming Peter Pan update, they could also be references to the DisneyLittle MermaidorFinding Nemofranchises, which also take place underwater.

Peter Pan is coming toDreamlight Valleythis summer, and the game is beginning to take steps to prepare for his arrival.Dreamlight ValleyStar Paths are generally related to the updates or seasons they’re linked with,so it’s no surprise to learn that the next Star Path will be themed around pirates and other marine life. The last update,Wonderland Whimsy,was released at the end of April and had a thematically related Star Path, as well.
APeter Pan-themed update is especially likely since the one recent time that Gameloft chose not to have an appropriate theme for the time of year—releasing a Rock-themed update for Fall—theDDVcommunity was unhappywith the decision. More information will be revealed about the Star Path and the upcoming Peter Pan update during the next Developer’s Update, which isscheduled for June 4.
