The upcoming entry in the long-runningDOOMfranchise takes the Slayer back to medieval times to the front lines of a war against invading demons. The title will hit consoles and PCs on May 14, and Xbox gamers can prepare for its release by arming themselves with a coolDOOM-themed controller.
Xbox Wirehas revealed theDOOM: The DarkAges-inspired controller and console designs for Slayers who want to take down medieval demons in style. Themed accessories include anXbox Wireless Controller, an Elite Wireless Controller (Series 2), and an Xbox Series X Wrap(no wrap for Series S announced). Although the official release date of the accessories is April 18, all three accessories are now available to purchase on the Microsoft Windows store before they hit retailers ahead ofDOOM’supcoming release date.

Finally, the Xbox Series X wrap shows the burning Mark of the Slayer across a dark expanse of cracked rock, with a splotch of blood in one back corner. The real draw of the wrap is one you won’t get to see regularly, though:printed across the inside of the wrap (i.e. the part that will be against the console) is an additional design.
The console wrap will fit perfectly over both disc drive and All-Digital editions of the Xbox Series X consoles.
The reverse side of the dark wrap is printed across a bright red and depicts “unspeakable inscriptions and symbols from the deepest levels of Hell,” according to Xbox Wire. The entire wrap can beeasily attached and removed using just velcro, making it easy to seal away or unleash the horrors hidden behind the exterior rock design.
The Xbox Wireless Controller will cost $79.99, the Elite Controller is priced at $199.99, and the console wrap costs $54.99. All three are only available on the Microsoft store for the time being, but theseDOOM: The Dark Agesaccessories will hit stores on April 18.
