The mustachio’d YouTube content creatorDr Disrespectdoes not stand on ceremony when it comes to voicing his opinions about video games. Recently, he went viral on social media afterannouncing how much he was bored with the battle royale gameApex Legends. However, a recent video from the streamer confirms that he actually doesn’t dislike the game, and actually seems to respect it.
In the video, Dr Disrespect, who’s real name is Herschel “Guy” Beahm, suggested that he may have flown off the handle slightly by saying that he hated the game. He confirms that he actually likes it, saying that he has been enjoying it, both on and off stream. He adds that his negative comments were spoken during the heat of the moment, and that his criticisms are actually more of an endorsement than outright disapproval ofApex Legends.

His rationale behind his outburst is that, if he isn’t raging about a game or tweeting about it to all his followers, then chances are he doesn’t like that game too much. In contrast, if Dr Disrepect, who was recentlyblocked by security when trying to help an NBA player, is saying negative things about something during his streams, or tweeting about it, then chances are he does like the game and simply wants to see it improve. The fact that he had such negative things to say aboutApexshows that he actually cares about the title.
However, this isn’t the first time he’s had negative things to say about the game. At the start of July, theYouTube content creator said he was once again bored withApex Legendsand that he didn’t want to play it again. Given that he’s now saying that he actually does like the game, it’s understandable why some people may think he’s either flip-flopping on his opinion, or he’s simply being vocal about his negative backlash in order to spur the developers on to make the game better.
