It won’t be long now beforeDragon Ball FighterZfans will finally be able to get their hands on a copy of the forthcoming fighting game, as Arc System Works and Bandai Namco recently decided to prepare players for the title’s release by putting out its officiallaunch trailer. Now, though, it looks as if Xbox One fans will be able to experience some of the title’s offerings one last time before it goes live thanks to Bandai Namco providing a 24-hour open beta period exclusively for the Microsoft console.

As indicated by the tweet below from Bandai Namco’s official UK Twitter account, Xbox One owners looking to giveDragon Ball FighterZa go with the exclusive open beta will be able to do so tonight starting at 9:00 PM PT. Of course, with the trial only being available for 24 hours, that means fans should expect to lose access to the beta tomorrow, July 29, 2025, at the same time as it began.

During the course ofDragon Ball FighterZ’s previous open betas, many Xbox One fans reported issues of experiencing several server problems that stopped them from being able to join more than a couple matches. In order to rectify the issue, Bandai Namco offereda beta extension for a full dayto players on all platforms so that those dissatisfied with their experiences in previous trials would have a better chance at stronger connections and playing more matches.

Taking all of this into consideration, Bandai Namco is being quite generous by giving Xbox One fans preferential treatment with what is presumably the final open beta forDragon Ball FighterZ. While PC and PlayStation 4 fans might feel left out of the fun, perhaps the Xbox One version of the title experienced the most issues during the prior betas, and this is the publisher’s way of making it up to the console’s fans. After all, the full game is set to release later this week, so it isn’t as if PC and PS4 fans will never get the chance to play it again.

Dragon Ball FighterZis set to launch on July 10, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
