Nothing beats the price of free, and while Epic has been causing quite a stir in the PC marketplace lately, it’s true that the company has been giving out good games. That doesn’t seem likely to stop anytime soon, either, as the store now has another two games that users are able to download without spending a penny.

The two games in question are the atmospheric sea-explorerAbzûand the puzzle-platformerThe End is Neigh, from one of the developers ofSuper Meat Boy.Those that wish to claim the games have until September 12th to do so. Previously,CelesteandInside, considered by many to be some of the best downloadable games of the generation, were both available forfree via the Epic Game Store.

After September 12th, users will also be able to downloadConariumfree of charge.Conariumis a Lovecraftian horror game about a group of four scientists looking to challenge the limits of nature. So far, the game has received “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam, so it’s definitely one to look out for. That being said, the free line up for Epic Games is still really strong this week, withAbzûbeing a wonderful way to blow off some steam, andThe End is Neighbeing a wonderful way to build it back up.

There is, of course, a vocal minority that still believes that theEpic Game Store is Chinese Spyware, a claim that Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has dismissed many times. The store is still lacking many of the major features of Steam, Epic’s chief competitor in the digital games market, but Epic has slowly been adding more to the platform so that it can better compete with the digital goliath.

It’ll be interesting to see what other games will be added to the free roster in the future. So far, Epic has done a great job of doling out good games to those that create an account on the digital storefront. Whether they’ll be able to keep it up remains to be seen, butFortnite’sannual revenue is more than any other game in history, so they can probably afford to keep going for quite some time.
