Watch Dogsreleased in May of 2014 to middling acclaim, but lasting interest. Many fans were beyond excited when the first official trailer for the game launched at E3 in 2013. Initially stunned by graphics and intrigued by the hacker storyline the game looked like it was going to be the newAssassin’s Creed.

However, this game was not for everyone and quickly drew criticism for its downgraded graphics and a standard sandbox experience. However,Watch Dogswas the genesis of the hacking series and is definitely worth picking up to prepare forthe third game in the seriesWatch Dog Legion.

The second game to be released is an insane indie title that only untiltwo years ago could be fully completed. The Stanley Parableis a game hard to explain without ruining some of the plot, or lack of plot. The game is a bit of a complex dichotomy that both requires you to play and not play. It’s essentially a game to break games, allowing the player to have the true choice of how they direct their avatar either against or following directions.

The game was originally designed as aHalf-Lifemod, but also has themes reminiscent toPortalas the character discovers more about the story as the character navigates the world. Needless to say,The Stanley Parableis a fascinating title to grab while players can if only to get a head start on the 5-year achievement.

Epic Games Storewill continue releasing games for the rest of year, evenafter a strange turf war broke out between them and Steam.
