Ahead ofCronos: The New Dawn’s release on September 5, preorders are available now. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and Mac. Coming in just under this generation’s triple-A standard,Cronosis priced at $59.99. TheCronos: The New DawnDeluxe Edition is $10 more, coming in at $69.99. Preorders are currently live on all platforms; PC has the option between Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Cronos: The New Dawn’s preorder bonuses are run-of-the-mill goodies for such things. Preordering the Standard Edition gives you a few resources to use in-game, as well as a cosmetic skin for the Traveler. The Deluxe Edition preorder bonuses appear to include everything in the Standard Edition preorder, plus more of the same, but crucially also includes a digital artbook and soundtrack and48-hour early access. This means if you preorder the Deluxe Edition, you can start playingCronoson September 3.

The consumables and ammo offered are likely just there to give those who preorder an early advantage, but the bonus skins – one appears to be bloodied, while the others are blue and yellow – are likely to attract some consumers.

48-hour early access will surely tempt those who are eagerly looking forward toCronos: The New Dawn. Even though Bloober Team is on a roll afterSilent Hill 2, it may still be wiser to wait for reviews before purchasing the game.
