Not too long ago, Bethesda confirmed thatthe highly anticipated betaforFallout76won’t officially begin until October, which happens to be just one month prior to the post-apocalyptic online game’s final release. While fans of the franchise bide their time while awaiting the publisher and developer’s next game set in the series' universe, one intrepid speedrunner decided to beat all of the titles that are currently available in under 90 minutes.
As seen in the video below from the YouTuber andFalloutfan known simply as “tomatoanus”, blazes through all of the titles included inFallout Anthology –that is,Fallout,Fallout 2,Fallout 3, andFallout: New Vegas– as well as the most recent entry,Fallout 4.As a matter of fact, the speedrunner is so fast, that it only takes him a little longer than 18 minutes to beat the first two games in the series.
As indicated by the title of the above video from tomatoanus, the speedrun completion of the entireFallout Anthologyalong withFallout 4is an %any run, which allows him to make use of glitches and exploits in order to finish the games as quickly as he possibly can. OnceFallout 1and2have been taken care of,Fallout 3has him at about the 33 minute mark, which then leads to him missing out on topping his personal best forNew Vegasby just two seconds at about the 47 minute mark. Naturally, the rest of the sub-90 minute run is dedicated to his completion ofFallout 4.
All things considered, with tomatoanus having successfully set what is currently the world-record speedrun of all theFalloutgames – save for,Fallout Shelter, of course – it will be interesting to see if he manages to shave any extra time off of the feat with another attempt. Then again, the YouTuber could decide to put some self-imposed limitations on himself in his next outing like theNew Vegasplayer whobeat the game with no kills or deaths on its hardest difficulty.
Bethesda’s next project for the post-apocalyptic RPG brand,Fallout76, releases on July 29, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
