A newFire Emblem Heroesupdate adds a whole host of new content to the Nintendo mobile game. Called ‘Sibling Bonds,’ the content drop sticks to the familial theme introduced with the previousFire Emblem Heroesupdate, ‘Family Bonds.’
In a patch that weighs in at just over 15MB, six new characters are introduced including Sanaki fromFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Klein fromFire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Reinhardt and Olwen fromFire Emblem: Thracia 776and Eldigan and Lachesis fromFire Emblem: Geneaology of the Holy War.
The patch also offers three new Paralogue missions, allowing players to meet these new faces (or for those familiar with theFire Emblemfranchise to be reacquainted). The Paralogue missions are available in the normal, hard and lunatic difficulty modes and completing each mission bags players one free orb; nine in total if players complete each mission at each difficulty.
While the launch log-in bonus which grants a couple of free orbs a day is still ongoing, the fact that more summon orbs are up for grabs is surely good news for those who didn’t try out theFire Emblem Heroesre-roll tacticto get better characters at the beginning of the game.
The update is part of Nintendo’s promise to bringnew content toFire Emblem Heroestwice a monthand so it’s just the beginning of what the company has planned for players of its latest mobile game. Nintendo has also confirmed that sometime in March it will introduce the ability to earn rewards when characters defeat lower level characters, which will remove one significant headache for those who had massively levelled up their characters but are now finding it much harder to get those characters to proceed any further.
Nintendo also promised that the game’s Worldwide Launch Celebration event would continue for the forseeable future. However, the event may soon come to end as it looks for other ways to engageFire Emblem Heroesplayers and aims to focus on delivering more of these content drops, moving away from the initial launch celebration fun.
Fire Emblem Heroesis now available on iOS and Android.
