Ubisoft fans are in for a real treat with this latestFor HonorandAssassin’s Creedcrossover event. Beginning December 20 and running through July 18, 2025, this three-week long event sees players “relive” the lives of Knight, Viking, Samurai, orWu Lin heroesthrough the Animus. And there’s proper lore to boot, too.
Essentially, theAssassin’s Creedantagonistic company Abstergo has created a unique gaming experience entitled “For The Creed” that transports players into theFor Honorworld as one of the aforementioned factions. One of the biggest changes for this event is a variation ofFor Honor’s Dominion Mode, which sees players capture zones to lure out commanders Ezio Auditore and/or Cesare Borgia to the battlefield.
That’s not the only change, however. For Honorhas also further received changes to its maps, with some containing the Assassin’s iconography or commonplace Animus glitches. In-game animations have also received updates so that all drop attacks will have the potential to be a leap of faith or air assassination. Menu options and customization options also reflect this event, which is offering players plenty to experience in this crossover.
Classically,For Honor’s fighters will also be able to perform hidden blade attacks, and the game went as far as to also change the minions. For Honorhas also included a mask and weapon found in the latest entry in the franchise,Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Of course, considering Ubisoft’sAssassin’s Creed Odysseyisone of the best RPGs of 2018, it’s not a surprise to see it featured here.
Overall, it seems like Ubisoft has gone all out for this event, which is somethingFor Honorplayers will likely appreciate. After all, continued support of any game is always something to be admired, as it hasn’t been too long since Ubisoft also addedthe arcade modetoFor Honor.
For Honoris available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
