Epic Games' Update 5.3 forFortniteBattle Royale recently brought about a bunch of new features to the wildly successful multiplayer sandbox survival title, including a Rift-To-Go item, the Limited Time Mode known as Score Royale, and even a new location calledTomato Temple. Of course, some players are still doing their best to try and discover what else is just around the bend, with a recent datamine potentially unveiling three new weapons coming to the free-to-play game.

As seen in the handful of tweets below,FortniteBattle Royale’s game files contain references to a Flamethrower, a Quad Launcher, and a new throwable item called a Shockwave Grenade. Of these, the Quad Launcher is technically already in the game, as it made its appearance in the title’s Save the World iteration, but the Flamethrower appears to be classified as an LMG, while the Shockwave Grenade has been described as a Legendary Impulse Grenade.

For those who have been out of the loop, the aforementioned weapons don’t appear to be the only fresh items making their way intoFortniteBattle Royale, as Epic Games seems to have a wide range of differentskins, gliders, pickaxes, and moreplanned for fans of cosmetics. What’s more is that there has even been a datamine that might have uncovered a Tomato Head event to celebrate the return of the fruit-headed mascot.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see if any of the datamined finds are incorporated intoFortniteBattle Royale in the near future, as most of the discoveries made while trawling through the title’s game files thus far have yielded positive results. With this being the case, perhaps someFortnitesleuths will be able to solve the mystery surrounding therift lightening strikescurrently happening in free-to-play release.

Fortniteis available now in early access for iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and an Android beta is currently underway.
