The latestFortnitev6.20 update ushered inFortnitemares 2018, a Halloween-themed event that has plenty for players to accomplish. One of those is a new set of challenges that, when complete, will unlock a unique glider for the game. The first set of challenges for this event include the following:
While the first three of these challenges seem rather straightforward, the latter can require some patience to find. To dance at different gargoyles,Fortniteplayers simply need to perform an emote near one of the Gargoyles. However, they can be rather tricky to find. It’s worth adding that players need to only do these at 5 different Gargoyles, though the game has 6.
The six gargoyles can be found at the following locations listed below. For those who prefer a visual, we’ve included a map marking some of these locations directly underneath the locations listed.
Of course, the simplest method is to drop at each of the above locations and complete the dancing emote. However, it does seem possible to visit most - if not all - of these locations in a single game. Players attempting to do so would need to rely on any of the game’s movement mechanics such as the Shadow Stones or a vehicle. It would even be simpler if players attempted this challenge duringthe glider re-deploy test.
Nevertheless, these challenges aren’t the only additions out ofFortnite’s v6.20 update, as Epic Games has also seen fit to introduce the Six Shooter. It replaces the original revolver that was Vaulted some time ago, so players may want to check it out when they’re completing the aforementioned Gargoyle challenge.
