InFortniteand other battle royale games, the start of the match is familiar: players drop, loot, and then begin to fight. Sometimes, victory is a matter of where players choose to drop and what they loot. This may have very well been the rationale for theFortnitefan who created the below map that shows which areas spawn the most chests.
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that this map shows the total number of possible spawns, not the total number of spawns that happen game-to-game. Because of the chest spawns being random, even the best locations can sometimes be a dud. But this is a numbers game, so it’s not surprising to see Tilted Towers sit on top with 35 possible spawn locations.
Surprisingly enough, the newwinter biome addition, Happy Hamlet, comes in second with 26 possible chest spawn locations, while Paradise Palms and Frosty Flights tie for third with 23. This means players can drop in any of these areas and hopefully find some worthwhile loot. Again, due to the random nature of the spawns, though, we can’t say that for certain. What we can say is that more chests are likely to spawn in these three hotspots, which should bring more loot along for the ride.
Hopefully, this map and the efforts by Redditor Z444Z don’t go unnoticed. Using this map could very help people change their go-to drop location. After all, if the aforementioned areas are too hot for some players to consider, this map shows all locations, not just named locations. Some may want to considerthe abandoned mansionand Lonely Lodge area, as that place is stacked with potential spawns
Taking all of this into consideration, this map may very well show players how effective their go-to landing spot is. Others may might try to step up their game and go for one of the biggest locations. Nevertheless, season 7 week 4 is starting soon, meaning players will be dropping across the battle island, so players can also check out theleaked challenges here.
