Players haven’t been able to log into theirFortniteaccount ever since the latest maintenance update was released earlier today. SinceFortniteis a game that’s been around for so long, it requires constant updates to verify it’s kept fresh with new content. For a while now, members of the community had been begging the developers toremove the Shockwave Hammer fromFortnitesince it was too glitchy, which made it too overpowered and unbalanced to remain in the game. So, to solve this issue, Epic Games removed the Shockwave Hammer from the game and released a maintenance patch to bring it back fully fixed.RELATED:Fortnite Hotfix Adds Guardian Shields and Midseason DropsThe maintenance patch was released and itbrought back the controversial Shockwave Hammerbut, unfortunately, it also made it so some players couldn’t log into their accounts. For a few hours now,Fortnitefans have been met with a message that said nothing except “Checking Epic Services Queue” and that it would take about an hour for them to be logged in and put back in the game - they could either wait out the queue to try and get in or reset it.

Services are working for certain players, so it is unknown why there is an issue for some gamers trying to get back into the game. Epic Games works pretty fast and attempt to solve these technical problems to give players the best experience possible when playingFortnite. As soon as everything is running perfectly once again, everyone will be able to jump out of the Battle Bus just like before and try out what else this update brought to the game such asthe returning Burst Assault Rifle.

The Burst Assault Rifle had been in the game a while ago, and it was a great weapon so it will without a doubt be classified as one ofChapter 4 Season 1’s best weapons; perhaps the Burst AR is exactly the right counter for the now unvaulted Shockwave Hammer. Hopefully, this weapon won’t cause as many issues as the Shockwave Hammer and there won’t be a hotfix to remove it within a few days of it being inFortnite.

Fortniteis available now for Mac, mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
