Alongside the launch ofFortniteseason 6, Epic Games has released an introduction and overview video for its forthcoming change-up to the wildly popular battle royale game. One of the first things fans may notice is that the previously teased cowgirl andwerewolf are skins with various outfits, as the trailer emphasizes the werewolf change.
As seen below, there are also several other seemingly fairytale-inspired costumes such as Red Riding Hood and a vampire mistress. Although someFortnitefans were concerned when they first saw the Loot Llama DJ and original cowgirl outfit, it seems likely this trailer will revitalize that battle royale spirit, as players compete to unlock these skins.
Another thing players may notice arethe petsincluded in the Battle Pass: on the werewolf, there’s a pet dragon; on the cowgirl, a pet dog; and on the vampire, a pet iguana. While their exact function is not yet known, as servers are down for maintenance at the time of this writing, they are likely to function as some type of back bling.
Per usual, the season 6 Battle Pass will set players back by 950 V-bucks or approximately $10. It is worth mentioning that those who do not wish to invest in the battle pass may still continue to unlock rewards via free weekly challenges and leveling up. Of course, a popular method of obtaining the battle pass is via V-buck rewards in Save The World, but that’s entirely up to the player.
With the Darkness Rises theme, these new skins will likely create tons of cool, aesthetic gameplay as werewolves travel throughnew locationssuch as the haunted castle and vampires face off in the corn fields. Now that season 6 is going live, it’s likely many new and returning players come to check out all of these new features. Tell us, Ranters, what stands out about season 6 the most?
