This week in games has largely been defined by the ongoing situation at Activision Blizzard and the flood of reactions toHalo Infinite’sfirst Flight. With both of those bits of news, and plenty of other tidbits coming out over the past seven days or so, Cameron and Anthony have plenty to talk about on Game Rant Arcade Episode 33.

Kicking things off,J Allen Brack has been ousted as Blizzard’s president, with the position being taken over by Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra, who will co-lead the company. It’s been seen by some fans as evidence that old Blizzard is now gone entirely, though that might still be speaking a bit early.

Not helping PlayStation’s situation,Horizon Forbidden Westhas reportedly been delayedto 2022, though Sony hasn’t commented on the reports yet. There’s been rumors of a State of Play launching in the next few weeks, which could see updates on the game’s release window. Right now, the PlayStation exclusive lineup is a bit of a mystery, especially withHorizonandGod of Warhaving ambiguous release windows.

Closing things out,Battlefieldis becoming a service, or should at least be thought of as a service, according to EA’s CEO. And,Call of Duty 2021is being teased, even though it’s a bit late into the year for the game’s marketing to start winding up. All of that and more in this week’s episode.
