HoYoverse recently revealed the lone five-star character planned to join the game in Version 4.5, one that has been the subject of several rumors. Chiori will be added toGenshin Impactduring the game’s next update as the newest character from the Japan-inspired Inazuma region, debuting as a Geo Sword user within the game. Chiori was the subject of frequent leaks in the months leading up to her reveal, originally speculated to be launching near the end of the Sumeru cycle. Now, with Chiori officially confirmed for the roster, new leaks are showing off her signature weapon.

Genshin Impact Leaks Chiori’s Signature Weapon

A new image shared by prominent leaker GenshinMeow gives fans their first look atChiori’s signature sword withinGenshin Impact. The sword bears a similar brown-and-gold color scheme to Chiori, with a red floral design tassle attached to the sword’s guard. The design of the sword also sticks closely toChiori’s element inGenshin Impact, with the Inazuma character launching as the newest Geo unit. Both Chiori and her signature weapon will debut with the launch of Version 4.5, currently expected for March 13.

While the image leak does not share any information about how Chiori’s signature weapon will function withinGenshin Impact, past leaks have hinted at its unique abilities. A leak of Chiori’s full kit and abilities teasedChiori’s weapon using Crit Damage as its sub-stat, with Chiori reportedly gaining Crit Rate for her Ascension stat. The post suggests Chiori’s weapon will boast an astounding 88% Crit Rate when fully leveled, similar to other five-star Crit Swords like “Splendor of Tranquil Waters” and “Light of Foliar Incision.”

Though fans will have to wait for Version 4.5 to try out Chiori, HoYoverse would recently reveal the full lineup of characters set to be featured in Version 4.4. Along with the previously mentioned Xianyun and Gaming, Version 4.4 will feature threefive-star characters receiving re-runs with Nahida, Xiao, and Yae Miko set to appear. The update will also heavily feature Liyue four-star characters to celebrate the annual Lantern Rite with Xinyan, Ningguang, and Yaoyao all featured on the second half banners. Between Xianyun, Chiori, and the plethora of re-runs,Genshin Impactfans have plenty to look forward to in Versions 4.4 and 4.5.
