Cyno has been mentioned innumerousGenshin Impactrumorsover the last couple of months and the latest one from one of the most popular leakers named Waffel has revealed a video featuring Cyno’s Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Burst animations. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that the visual effects on his combat animations are probably some of the best in the game right now.
Another credible leaker named Project Amber has apparently revealed more information about his kit. Cyno’s Elemental Burst will be called Sacred Rite: Wolf’s Swiftness and it will turn him into Pactsworn Pathclearer. This effect will convert his Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks into Electro damage as well as increase his Elemental Masterys and resistance to interruption. Numerous fans have pointed out that this skill seems like a polished and improved version ofRazor’s Elemental Burst called Lightning Fang. Just like Razor, once Cyno leaves the field, his Elemental Burst effect is canceled.
Cyno’s Elemental Skill will be called Secret Rite: Soulfarer and it will allow him to perform a swift dash dealing Electro damage in the path. If his Elemental Burst is activated, the damage and area of effect will get significantly increased. This skill is very reminiscent of Xiao’s Elemental Skill which allows him to dash forward and deal Anemo damage in the process. A big part of Cyno’s kit seems to be scaling with Elemental Mastery which has become very common withnew Sumeru inGenshin Impact. When it comes to his team composition, another leaker named Ubatcha1 has previously revealed that he should probably be paired with Electro and Dendro characters.
Combining these two elements can trigger a new elemental reaction namedQuicken as well as its sub-reaction Aggravatewhich increases the damage potential of the Electro character. Having an additional Electro character like Fischl or Raiden Shogun could resolve any potential Energy issues. While the leaks seem credible, it should be noted that HoYoverse could still make additional adjustments to Cyno before his official release.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
