Players that come across the Komatsu Forge relatively early during their time withGhost of Tsushimamay have some questions about this Mongol-controlled territory. More specifically, some fans may wonder why there are no enemies at the Komatsu Forge inGhost of Tsushima, while others may be curious about exactly what the yellow bird in this area is trying to lead them to. Fortunately, the answers to both of these questions are fairly straightforward.

To start with the lack of enemies at the Komatsu Forge inGhost of Tsushima, players may be happy to learn that this is not a bug or issue with their game. Instead, fans simply need to progress the main story further, and eventually a Tale will send them to the Komatsu Forge that has been filled with enemies. For those players that are interested, the relevant Tale is called Hammer and Forge, and it comes towards the end ofGhost of Tsushima’s first act.

With respect to the golden bird that players can find at the Komatsu Forge before it is populated with Mongols, it is attempting to take them to aGhost of Tsushimavanity itemcalled the Forgemaster’s Headband. To obtain this headband, players must get onto the roof of the building with the water wheel and then jump down through the hole at the very top. The goal here is to land on the highest rafter in this building, as indeed the Komatsu Forge vanity item sits upon it.

For thoseGhost of Tsushimaplayersthat may be having some trouble getting on the aforementioned roof, there is a small structure located right by the building. Next to that small structure is a cliff, and fans should jump from that cliff to the roof of the small structure. They should then jump from this roof to the roof of the building with the water wheel, which they can then climb to claim their reward.

To note, there is a Singing Cricket at the Komatsu Forge that players can also obtain before the area is overrun by Mongols, and it is in the graveyard to the east. That said, fans that want to collect this Singing Cricket should ready theirkatanas inGhost of Tsushima, as there are some enemies nearby.
