SomeGotham Knightsplayers have expressed their issues with the UI as they claim it looks like a mobile game.Gotham Knightsis out today on PC and current-gen consoles, but it was originally supposed to launch on previous-gen consoles as well. ThePS4 and Xbox One versions ofGotham Knightswere canceled earlier this year, allowing the developers to focus on the new systems.

A study revealed thatGotham Knightswas one of the most hyped games in development, alongside the upcomingGod of War RagnarokandStarfield, but it received criticism from some fans in the lead-up to its launch. It was revealed thatGotham Knightsis capped at 30 FPSon PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no option for a 60 FPS performance mode. For context, it’s rare for a next-gen game to not offer an optional graphics mode that runs at a higher frame rate. It now looks like 30 FPS gameplay is not the only issue players may have withGotham Knights.

A Reddit user named InternationalWafer74 has shared an image ofGotham Knights’ UI and claims that the interface resembles free-to-play mobile games. It looks like this image is from the game’s crafting menu as the UI appears to describe a new melee weapon, with its properties and special effects listed next to the character. In the bottom left corner, players can see five different types of materials they need to craft the weapon.

Gotham Knightscurrently does not have any microtransactions, and all the content appears to be unlockable via gameplay. However, some users believe that they were removed during its development, and reference the backlash towardsMarvel’s Avengers' use of microtransactions.

Fans interested in playingGotham Knightsshould note that it will get a four-player co-op mode on November 29 as a free update. This cooperative mode will beseparate fromGotham Knights’ main story, which is limited to two players. In this mode, gamers will be tasked with fighting waves of enemies and completing specific objectives in an arena-like environment.
