Until Rockstar Games officially revealsGrand Theft Auto 6, fans won’t stop looking for possible hints about the next game in the open world franchise. This has included scouringGrand Theft Auto 5for clues, with one Reddit user thinking they may have found evidence ofGTA 6’s setting in the game.

One of the biggest theories aboutGTA 6is that the game will be set in South America, and that it will revolve around drug smuggling. These claims have appeared in multiple rumors and supposed “leaks” this past year, and some think Rockstar itself has hinted atGTA 6having a South American setting, though nothing official has been announced at the time of this writing.
While thisGTA 5billboard and the Six Figure Temps company could both be hints at theGTA 6setting, it’s more likely that fans are just reading too much into things. However, there have been some potential hints from Rockstar itself aboutGrand Theft Auto 6and its possible location. The most prominent of these hints was theDiamond Casino Heist update trailer, which showed a map where South America was the only continent highlighted.
Christmas gifts Rockstar gave out to its employeeshave also made some fans think thatGTA 6will be set in South America. The gifts included badges of the Rockstar logo, including variations of the Rockstar logo on a South American flag background. Again, all of this could just be a coincidence or people reading into things too much, or they could be legitimate hints about what to expect fromGrand Theft Auto 6.
Of course, it’s possibleRockstar’s next gameisn’tGrand Theft Auto 6at all, but rather a different project entirely. Whatever Rockstar’s next game is, here’s hoping fans find out more sooner rather than later.
