Summary

There are some games that may be brilliant experiences, and the best games on the market can provide players with exhilarating gameplay, emotional and intense stories, and a bundle of characters that is hard to let go. However, what these great games lack, is an online multiplayer component that could truly make them excel beyond what was originally possible with the single-player experience.

6Hogwarts Legacy

For many fans of theHarry Potterfranchise,Hogwarts Legacywas a dream come true. Finally, players could explore the mysterious halls of Hogwarts, and the grounds that it covers. Magic was in the palms of the player’s hands, and they could interact with students, and teachers, andembark on exciting adventuresthat may or may not be frowned upon by the school’s board of safety. However, there was one notable lacking feature ofHogwarts Legacy: co-op.

Something about the lack of online multiplayer makesHogwarts Legacyseem somewhat empty. Despite the game brimming with adventure and things to do, the fact that players can’t roam Hogwarts with their friends or other random students controlled by players leaves much to be desired.

1Death Stranding

Death Strandingis all about connecting the world. Players can feel like they are one by helpingtheir fellow Sam Porters. Whether that’s building bridges, ladders, leaving signs or gear to be used by other players,Death Strandinghas some great multiplayer features to try and help with that feeling of loneliness that sets in on the long roads ahead. Yet, it’s still missing that human touch.

It’s ironic that Sam Porter inDeath Strandinghas a phobia of touch because it would be great to double the Sams inDeath Stranding. Fighting MULES, BTs, and avoiding the horrors that lurk in the shadows would add a new flavor toDeath Stranding, and help to make the beautiful and desolate world feel less lonely.
