Monster Hunter Wildsis going to launch worldwideon February 28, but you don’t have to wait that long after purchasing your copy.

You can preload your game ahead of the release on whichever platform you own, and doing so has certain benefits. For starters, you can jump right in once the game goes live, as all the files will be downloaded and installed. Let’s take a look at how preload works for the latest Monster Hunter title on all available platforms.

If you have purchased your copy from Steam, go to your Library and complete the following steps.

Once the preload is complete, you’ll find that the Play button is unavailable. It will be made available automatically by Steam once the game is live.

The process of downloading the game on consoles is pretty much similar to PC. On your Xbox, go to the game’s page.

Just like on PC and Xbox, you’ll first have to go to the page ofMonster Hunter Wilds. There arethree different editionsto pick from. Once you have purchased your edition, complete the following steps.
