While Ubisoft had a strong end to 2020 with new additions to long running franchises likeWatch Dogs LegionandAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, one of the surprise hits for the company was a brand new IP. In December, Ubisoft launchedImmortals: Fenyx Rising, aLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildinspired open world action RPGthat focuses on Greek Mythology. Now, nearly 2 months since launch, Ubisoft is preparing to launch the game’s first downloadable content pack give fans even more content to chew on.
In a new post over on the Ubisoft website,Immortals: Fenyx Risingis getting its first DLC pack called A New God tomorrow, January 28. According to Ubisoft, this DLC pack will let players explore Olympus Palace as Fenyx attempts to earn a spot in the Pantheon. Players can expect to unlock four new ability upgrades, continue to max out health and stamina, and acquire a new gear set with the ability to perform additional jumps. Additionally, the DLC will feature brand new gameplay mechanics from the base experience in order for players to overcome the various trials built by the Olympic Gods.

Season Pass owners can grab this DLC tomorrow for free once it hits online marketplaces. However, for those who don’t have the Season Pass or the Gold Edition ofImmortals: Fenyx Rising, the New God DLC can also be purchased separately though Ubisoft has not revealed an individual price point yet for the pack.
A New God is just a first step for Ubisoft’s newest IP. According to Ubisoft’s post launch plans,Immortals: Fenyx Risingstill has two large expansions due to arrivelater this year. The first, known as Myths of the Eastern Realm, ditches the Greek theme for one inspired by Chinese mythology. Players will encounter new gods and monsters as they play as the new hero Ku. Finally, The Lost Gods also changes the game mechanics by adding a top down perspective and brawler-style combat. Again, a new hero named Ash is introduced as they embark on a new journey to reunite the Greek gods.
