But based on the announcement photo, there will also be one long-awaited storyline occurring in the show’s third outing.

On its own, the second season’s finale could have served as the last episode, and it would have been fitting in its own way. But since it is coming back, with a different vibe and a reinvigorated narrative thrust, it’s hard not to be excited about what one of TV’s best will manage to cook up next. Lestat as a rockstar is a major treat on its own.
