Her arrival was teased by a promo, as shared by theDaily Mail, in which Toni told host Maya Jama that she was on her way to the villa because Maya said she wanted more “twists” this season. Toni’s arrival shocked the rest of the Islanders, who’d already been coupled up.
“Hey Maya, I heard you want more twists. How about an American bombshell? Get ready, I’m on my way.”
Upon arriving, Toni was able to steal a guy away from his coupling, so she immediately chose to couple up with Ben Holbrough, who was already coupled up with Shakira Khan, meaning Shakira was now single and at risk of elimination. Still,Toni’s friendly attitude endeared her to the women on the island, and she was accepted as part of their group almost immediately.
