What Breanna Nix’s Lack Of Confidence Means For American Idol
Breanna Should Be Proud Of What She’s Achieved On The Show
When Breanna auditioned forAmerican Idol, she brought her young son into the audition room with her, and introduced herself as"just a stay-at-home mom.“Carrie told her never to describe herselfthat way because she has the most important job.It was evident during Breanna’s audition that she didn’t have confidence in herself, but, when she sang “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” she had a transformation.

Our Take On Breanna Nix Not Taking Audition Process Seriously
Breanna Is Exactly What American Idol Is All About
The fact that Breanna didn’t take herAmerican Idolaudition too seriously and thought of it as a joke at first shows thatshe wasn’t desperate for fame. Some of theAmerican IdolTop 24 contestantswere former contestants from other reality singing competition shows, and they’ve been trying to make it in the music industry for many years. While there’s nothing particularly wrong with this, there is something more special about a person such as Breanna coming on to the show with no prior performing experience and finding her voice.
Breanna represents exactly whatAmerican Idolis all about. She’s growing and changing and learning to love herself through her journey, and it’s been beautiful to watch. I love seeing her gain confidence and self-worth as she graces us with her phenomenal performances. I can’t wait to see what Breanna does next. I really do believe thatshe could be the next American Idol.

American Idol is a reality singing competition that adds to the international “Idol” brand, conceived initially in the U.K. as Pop Idol. Holding massive auditions across the U.S., American Idol invited several contestants to perform in front of a panel of judges that would determine whether or not they’d go on to future rounds for a chance at competing in the fully televised premiere of the show. Contestants are voted off each week by American participation via voting through various mediums, and the winner of the competition would be given a contract with a record label to secure a future as America’s next musical idol.
