Gunn, who replied to a Twitter user, said fans should be careful about what they read on social media towards the end of April. However, he believes spoilers won’t take away much of the enjoyment ofGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Fans should know by now that with the release of an MCU project comes potential spoilers. And while Gunn’s comments may be true, this being the third and final entry in theGuardianstrilogy, it’s probably best to avoid any spoilers. In addition, Gunn confirmed thatGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’s runtimemakes it the longest out of the three films, so there will be a lot more in store that fans may not want to know about ahead of the film’s release.

And while it may be too difficult to avoid any spoilers, Gunn believesGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3avoided the trilogy curse, something very few trilogies have overcome. “The amount of good third episodes in a trilogy, I can count them on one hand,” Gunn said in a recent interview. Gunn added thatGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3is where fans learn the truth about who these characters are as they face their biggest stakes.
