New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for July 2022
Of course, those signed up for the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers also have access to the monthly free PS Plus games. And unlike the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers, the monthly free games can be kept forever, assuming one stays signed up for the PS Plus service. Thefree PS Plus games for July 2022areCrash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time,The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, and day one gameArcadegeddon, all available to claim right now.
While the games added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers aren’t up for keeps, they should still be available for quite some time. Like Xbox Game Pass, it seems as thoughgames being removed from PS Plus Extrawill be a fairly rare occasion. Looking ahead, there are only a handful of games that are confirmed to be getting removed from the PS Plus Extra tier in the near future.Syberiais being removed on July 19, whileNBA 2K22andWRC 10are both getting the boot on August 31.

Come September 20, PS Plus Extra will be losing one of its best games as that’s the day whenRed Dead Redemption 2is being removed from the service. About a month later, the originalRed Dead Redemptionand itsstandalone expansionRed Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmareare also being removed. These games being removed from PS Plus resulted in some speculation that Rockstar Games may be preparing remasters of the titles, but that has turned out to be inaccurate, if the latest leaks and rumors are anything to go by.
Regardless, fans can count on Sony adding a lot more games to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers than it removes, and there should be plenty of big additions in the months ahead.
