Back in June,Kingdom Hearts 3director Tetsuya Nomura detailed some of the game’s upcoming DLC, including the Re Mind expansion. Square Enix released a brief trailer for Re Mind, but as is typical with theKingdom Heartsfranchise, it left many with more questions than answers. Luckily, we will soon find out more about the first majorKingdom Hearts 3DLC, as Square Enix has announced when it will drop the next trailer.

As announced by Square Enix on Twitter, the next trailer for the upcomingKingdom Hearts 3Re Mind DLCwill drop on September 9. This is right ahead of the Tokyo Game Show in Japan, which runs from September 12 to September 15. Fans can expect the newKingdom Hearts 3DLC trailer to drop at around 10:00am CT come next week.

The previousKingdom Hearts 3Re Mind trailer revealed some details about what fans can expect. It confirmed that Sora will once again be able to wield theOathkeeper keybladethat appeared in the first two games, and it teased more playable characters. In fact, Re Mind almost seemed to be a rehash of the final battles of the base game, but with everyone involved in the fight playable instead of just Sora.

However, we actually don’t know much about the Re Mind DLC or what exactly it will entail. As previously mentioned, the first trailer Square Enix released left us with more questions than answers, so it’s hard to say what to expect from it. It’s possible that the newKingdom Hearts 3DLC trailer that comes on September 9 will be similarly confusing and vague, but fans will just have to wait until September 9 to see.

In the meantime, September 9 is shaping up to be quite the big day for the gaming industry, as it seems to be when many companies are setting the table for their Tokyo Game Show offerings. Besides Square Enix showing off the newKingdom Hearts 3DLCon September 9, Capcom has also promised to reveal a newResident Evilgame on that day as well. Currently known as Project Resistance, the official reveal trailer for that game is also coming on September 9.
