Season 11 has been off to a great start forLeague of Legendswith the return of ranked, LCS, and Viego the Ruined King making his in-game debut. But players who have been waiting weeks for a new event sinceBattle Queensended can finally rejoice at today’s announcement. From February 4th to March 8th, everyone can participate in Lunar Beast 2021 for unique rewards.
Lunar Beast is the newest skinline to come from the annual Lunar Revel festival, with this year celebrating the Year of the Ox. Besides the standard missions and collecting enough tokens to exchange for prizes, this event brings back theApril Foolsgame mode ARURF which is a favorite of the community. Since this is also the only chance to earn cosmetics for the Lunar Beast and Crystal Rose skinlines, players will have plenty of reasons to play matches for the next month.

Lunar Beast Missions
Like always,League of Legendsplayersautomatically receive a series of free missions that award Lunar Beast tokens upon completion. There are 16 linked missions in total, but only the first 4 are available currently. Another quartet of missions will open up every week until February 25th. Players will get a Lunar Beast event icon, an Eternals capsule, and 225 tokens after finishing every mission.

Event Shop
Once all the free missions are completed, everyone will have 300 Lunar Beast tokens which will let them claim one item from the shop. If there are other cosmetics or more expensiveLeague of Legendsitems that catch a player’s attention, they can buy the event pass which guarantees 1000 tokens from weekly missions, additional tokens from matchmade games, and milestone rewards.
